These sensational Purple Loosestrife will add that perfect splash of colour and charm to your pond or bog garden. A native gem, these hardy perennial plants establish well in damp semi shade or full sun. They will also tolerate sitting in the water at the edge of a pond.
The delicate pink upright flowers appear on tall stems in August and last through to October. Loved by bees and hover flies.
Supplied as fully hardened rooted cuttings grown out doors in the North of England.

Plant immediately where you want the plants to grow.
Either in shallow margins around a pond or a damp but reasonably sunny border.
No need for nutrient enriched compost, as like all native wild flowers these do not require any fuss.
Cut down almost to ground level in late Autumn (November) Healthy growth will appear in late spring the following year.
In a pond situation, thick clumps can be lifted and divided every few years to keep the plant in check.
